Harton Ltd is a family business which has been trading since 1978. Working alongside local authorities, other civil engineers and private clients, we have built the specialist skills and knowledge required to carry out an extensive range of groundworks to a very high standard.
Our Managing Director, John Gibbons, personally oversees every project — which is why so much of our work still arrives by word of mouth.

Yes. A single driveway or patio is as welcome as an estate road — it's the same crew and the same standard either way. Homeowners are a good part of what we do.
Usually not — but since 2008, surfacing more than five square metres of front garden in something impermeable needs either a permeable surface or drainage to a soakaway inside your own boundary, or it does require permission. We'll tell you which applies and build it to comply.
